I'm downvoting this because it sounds like you took some other song (one I liked, but still) in some track combiner and put that one song of yours on top of it... you know, the one you submitted 3 times under different names and sounds like Midnight Sonata? It worked out perfectly, but I don't think you really did anything.
Author's Response:
You're REALLY wrong, I didn't know this sonata before!
Ask yourself the question why I've uploadet so many versions, because I want to do it better every time, I started with making music for about 1 and a half year and all skills and every experience I've made was gathered by trying out a lot of things in FL studio and by the way, there are still 4 versions of (underwater journey, because that was the very first name for the song) on NG I would delete it but every version of that song has too much listeners! And I will upload a version which is not played by hand at the end, because you can hear my mistakes for about 1 year when I composed the song on my keypad .... YES keypad I haven't a keyboard, because I haven't the money for it and if you know a bit about FL studio you know that you can play there on a keypad! that's the way I make music when I startet with FL studio until NOW so you can imagine how difficult it is and how much time it needs to create a new song. Try it by youself Cjipo and you will see that you will hit a similar sound of songs you really don't know because every chord was used before in a song and you sat hour for hour on a song which you can imagine in your brain but first you have to look what do you need for instruments and you have to go through the FL-instrument-list you have to try every damn synth, that's surely not all you need to try out the chords of your damn keypad and you have to bring that in the right build up with that weird piano-roll of FL OH what's that a hashing sound SO you have to go in the mixer and try to master the song and if it's finally finished you find another better preset for this song in the next song you do but you've already uploadet it on this great Flash-Audio Portal called Newgrounds. And that's a easy description. Other virtual studio user know what I mean. And suddenly there came out of nowhere a kind 1 stars giving NG-user and says " I VOTE DOWN YOUR SONGS BECAUSE THEY SOUND SOOOO LIKE OTHER STUFF!"
that's your opinion, no problem, I can take it. Vote down all my songs if you want but I don't try to sound like other artists, I try to express my emotions with assistance of music with absolutely no commercial reason. And yes I have used the mp3 file for "Heavenly Remix" because I don't have the original project for FL and the composer has deleted the song but that's the great thing on mp3 you can make addtiotinal changes in low storage space =) and the song was great before no question but I had the feeling to add a chor, violins and a soft mainsynth. And why not ? That's NG you can make collaborations with artists you don't know and there accrued so much beautiful things out of that. And so long as nobody use the stuff of other people for commercial things it's ok =)
and I will show you what I've done on FL studio

but I like it! I found it really easy to listen to, and I was searching for just such a song, so 5/5 and DL'd. Yay.

It lost some of the epic feel of previous roses like Midnight, but otherwise I don't think I can find anythngwrong with it. MetaknightPWNS2 pointed out that you used to have a perfect 5/5, but someone seems to have zero-bombed you. There should be measures to keep people from pulling crap like that.
One more thing- could you explain what a meridiem is?
Author's Response:
Yeah, it's most likely because it's not very oldskool sounding I think, but that's nothing that can't come back in the future!
Yes, I noticed btw! I must have a large group of people that hate me or something, haha, it's pretty funny. =D
Meridiem = Noon, it's the M in A.M or P.M (which is Post Meridiem), so it's like Rose At Noon. :p

I typed 66666 at the end of the URL. You were really lucky to get that number it seems...
Anyways this is a nice song, can't place it but it would be nice as an ambient track in a video game or video. Good job.

The beginning reminded me of Eternal Haven, but then it became its own song. Quite mixed around, I ike that, keeps it from being repetitive

Your beat is too loud and drowns everything else out. 2/5

I agree on the retro feeling, although it doesn't kick in until halfway. It also sounds sort of like someone saying soething a few times. 5/5
Author's Response:
Thanks dude. Yeah I really enjoyed the little retro breakup toward the end, I think it gives this tune some character, and it's a lot different from the rest of my songs.
What parts did you hear someone speaking? I think I know what you mean but I'm not sure haha.

It started out in a genre I didn't like ( the peaceful piano stuff), and then it turned into hate patrol-type suff. The transition was, simply, painful. I was also under the impression this would be "battle music" as stated in your pm.
Author's Response:
I'm not so sure how the transition was painful. It was a simple crossfade, so it wasn't like BAM! In your face instantly or anything.
Sorry you didn't like the piano. That is typically the one thing everyone really likes in all my songs.
Thanks for the review.

My ears might actually be bleeding a little... watch the screeches!
Author's Response:
Apologies for the screeches. The way i was working meant that occasionally i'd get some harsh feedback with the way i was creating the effects. I thought it added a bit of originality and harshness to the track, which is what i was aiming for.
still, Dont you think a 1 was a bit harsh?
Anyway, thanks for the review!
