I know everyone's making a big deal about SOPA and how it's supposedly going to destroy the Internet and kill children, but seriously, I actually like the bill. I've checked out what it means (unlike you morons), and it's really not bad. First of all, it doesn't even affect sites in America. NG, wiki, etc., they are all staying right where they are. The important thing it does do is allow the government to take down sites that cause problems for all of us. CP sites linked to spambots that troll other sites, phishers that come up in search results, Evony, etc. The main target is pirating sites, and I'm sick of people insisting that they have a god-given right to steal other people's life's work just because of the medium it exists on. Plus whenever I search for something, I get dozens of results from torrent and P2P sites that keep me from finding anything useful. I know SOPA has no downside for me, and I think the rest of you should get over it. If it passes, it'll take out the trash and be better for everyone.
